由于城市建设和交通设施的不断发展，各种室内、舱内装饰用非织造布，如窗帘、帷幕、墙布、地毡等应用增加。该类制品引起的火灾也是接连发生。我国有明确规定:公共娱乐场所使用的窗帘、沙发包布、地毯等采用阻燃材料。因此，我国阻燃非织造布产品的开发和应用势在必行，阻燃白色无纺布出现了良好的发展势头。
(1)阻燃无纺布概述:非织造布的阻燃作用是通过添加阻燃剂来实现的。阻燃剂要能在非织造布上获得应用，符合下列条件:
①低毒、持久，能使产品达到阻燃标准要求;

②热稳定性好，发烟性小，能适合非织造布的要求;
It has good thermal stability and low smoke generation, and can meet the requirements of nonwoven fabrics.
③不使非织造布原有性能明显降低;

④价格低，有利于降低成本。

阻燃整理无纺布：阻燃整理是通过吸附沉积、化学键合、非极性范德华力结合及粘合等作用使阻燃剂固着在常规非织造布上二获得阻燃效果的。这种方法与纤维改性相比，工艺较为简单，投资少，但洗涤性较差，且对非织造布的外观、手感有一定影响。阻燃整理可采用浸扎法和喷雾法进行。
